Just heard Greg Hunt (new Federal Environment Minister) on Radio National. His unequivocal support for the new IPCC report was very welcome news. As was the news that they are restoring funding to the Griffiths University National Climate Change Adaptation Research Facility (www.nccarf.edu.au )
Of course,, depends very much on how much funding, how much action will follow, but lets acknowledge any positive news, whilst keeping very alert for the negative stuff too.
